I have always been fascinated by African women, dressed in bright, bold colours, entwined in artistic chains of plant motifs – a true tribute to nature with which they live in perfect harmony.

The African Beauty painting is original, made directly on the frame and painted in acrylic colours. The portrait is handmade entirely of ceramic, giving the painting a characteristic 3D look.
